A gigantic thanks go our to our Round Robin Sponsors, each of whom will supply a smartphone to give away in out Round Robin Giveaway!

Celio Corp

Celio Corp, the makers of the Redfly Mobile Companion, have chipped in both an HTC Fuze and a Redfly Mobile Companion. The REDFLY Smartphone Terminal by Celio Corp lets you use your smartphone like a laptop with its large screen and full keyboard. REDFLY has no OS, CPU, syncing or storage, so it's easy to setup and requires no software licenses or ongoing maintenance.

Celio Corp recently announced two new REDFLY models, the C7 and C8N. The C8N continues the tradition of the original REDFLY with an 8-hour/4,500 mAh battery and an 8-inch, 800x480-pixel display. The C8N also sports a new feature, the REDFLY Media Port that accepts analog NTSC/PAL composite video input from any source to be viewed on REDFLY's large screen. Watch movies full-screen or in a smaller window while working on your REDFLY.

The REDFLY C7 features the same award-winning design architecture as the original REDFLY but is lighter, more power-efficient and less expensive. Weighing in at only 1.46 lbs., the C7 comes with a 5-hour/2,000 mAh battery and a 7-inch, 800x480-pixel display.

Palm

Palm has kindly donated a Treo Pro to the Round Robin. We at Smartphone Experts are all big Palm fans -- having gotten our start with TreoCentral.

Palm has long been at the forefront of the Smartphone Revolution with both their PalmOS Treo and Centro lines of phones as well as their Windows Mobile Treos. The Treo Pro is easily the best Treo yet (in our humble opinion) and well worth checking out. You can read TreoCentral's Full Review of the Palm Treo Pro. Palm also has a great history of interacting with the Treo community, an excellent example of which is the Official Palm Blog.

Case-Mate

Case-Mate designs and manufactures some of the best smartphone cases on the market today. You can find a wide selection of them both in our own Smartphone Experts stores as well as on their site.

Participating SPE Sites

TreoCentral

TreoCentral.com is the premier Treo news and community site on the web and has been since its inception in 2002.

TreoCentral is a spin off of VisorCentral.com, a successful website started in 1999 to focus on the Treo's predecessor, the Handspring Visor. Committed to a vision of expert Treo reporting, in-depth reviews of Treos, accessories, and software, and an editorial slant that's as much "tough love" as it is "true love" for the Treo, TreoCentral is one of the most respected voices in the Treo community.

In addition to news, accessory reviews, a Treo wiki, and a podcast, TreoCentral also has the world's most active Treo community in its forums.

The Community Editor for TreoCentral is Jennifer Chappell. Chappell lives in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. She has a Bachelor's degree in Music from Lenoir-Rhyne College.

WMExperts

In late 2006, Smartphone Experts broadened its horizons beyond just the Treo smartphone. Its second site, WMExperts.com, focuses on the many Windows Mobile Smartphones in the US.

Like TreoCentral, WMExperts features news, reviews, and opinion about all things Windows Mobile - but in a more blog-like format. WMExperts' tone is as humorous as its content is informative - it's quickly becoming a go-to source for both Windows Mobile information, "smackdown" comparisons, and industry analysis.

WMExperts also partially shares their forum with TreoCentral, meaning Windows Mobile users can get the benefit of years of Windows Mobile Treo posts at WMExperts as well.

The Community Editor for WMExperts is currently Dieter Bohn. Bohn is also the VP of Communities for Smartphone Experts as a whole.

The iPhone Blog

When the iPhone was announced in January of 2007, everybody knew it would change everything when it would be released. Via our desire to see the smartphone world through Apple-tinted glasses, the Phone different community was born in July, 2007.

The iPhone Blog merged with the Phone different site in May of 2008. Both sites were founded on a premise that comes one from one of Apple's old slogans: Think different. The iPhone Blog: for people who dare to phone different.

The iPhone Blog features a great editorial team of writers and editors led by Rene Ritchie. On the blog you'll find a mix of informative How-To articles, the latest iPhone news, and more than a little humor. In addition, they have rapidly growing forums where members discuss applications, tips, and tricks for the iPhone.
CrackBerry

Acquired by Smartphone Experts in 2007, Crackberry is one of the leading online communities serving Blackberry.

CrackBerry launched to rave reviews in February 2007, garnering international attention from both BlackBerry users and the media.

Since going live, the site has continually focused on its goal of establishing itself as the #1 Source for All Things BlackBerry. While CrackBerry.com's team of bloggers report news and conduct reviews, the site also features an active forum community, an accessory and software store, and other unique utilities, including: a blackberry wallpaper maker, a user-contributed ringtone gallery, and the ability for members to activate their own @CrackBerry.com email address.

CrackBerry.com's wide range of content makes the site relevant and helpful to all users of RIM's BlackBerry device, be it a business user, personal consumer, or IT administrator.

Kevin Michaluk is the Community Editor for CrackBerry.com. Inspired by his love (some would call it addiction) to the BlackBerry, Michaluk had the idea to launch CrackBerry.com in 2006. A life-long entrepreneur with a Management Degree from the University of Manitoba, Kevin is a certified gadget freak.

Android Central

Focused on all things Android, Android Central launched in October os 2008, celebrating the release of the T-Mobile Android. Android Central, as with the other SPE sites, features the latest news and reviews on it's blog combined with a new forums to discuss the Android Platform.

Run by the same team that has brought you the other SPE Community sites and also featuring a fully-stocked Accessory Store, Android Central is poised to become the next big Smartphone Community on the web!
